NEARBY ACTIVITIES & THINGS TO DO

While a guest at DOWNTOWN INN

Mission Ridge Ski

& BOARD Resort

A hidden gem for all you skiers and snowboarders out there. When visiting Wenatchee in the winter and have an interest in skiing or snowboarding, we strongly recommend taking the short 13 mile drive to Mission Ridge. They pride themselves on being the 1st resort to open for the season, and also tend to get light, fluffy snow, rather than the dense wet snow on the western slope resorts.

And if you are not a skier, there is wonderful cozy lodge and the views are incredible. It’s super close to Wenatchee, and is a refreshing alternative to the overcrowded slopes at Stevens & Snoqualmie Pass.

"We stayed at the lovely Downtown Inn after Joni Mitchell at the Gorge. It took longer getting out of the parking lot at the concert, then drive to Wenatchee. It was so nice to get a good night sleep in the comfy, clean bed. The people who manage the place are very nice too!! You will not be disappointed!"
